How exactly is it a copy? HTC has been using this design since the M7 Released in 2013, March
And the M8 Released 2014, March

iPhone 6 released 2014, September.

yea HTC totally "copied" Apple not the other way around redface.gifrolleyes.gif

Yeah, it doesn't look anything like it.

It's funny to see that when these copycat accusations originally began, people were yelling about copying even if there was a slight difference.

Now, years later, we are looking at two phones of totally different brands, but they look nearly the same. Yet, people are saying that there clearly isn't any difference? Wow! thumb.gif

did I say it doesn't look similar? no, I said they didn't copy the design since they have been using it for years now, had Apple not copied the Antenna lines it would only be similar in its shape which is hardly a "copy" considering it is the base for any smartphone.

http://www.engadget.com/2015/10/22/htc-one-a9-copycat/ did they make it look much more alike on purpose? they sure did, they even said Apple copied their M line design, so calling this an "iphone copy" is just silly tbh.

This whole "iPhone copy" BS is getting really old, Apple has not innovated at all since their first iPhone.

Tell me how it is when you try it. I absolutely hated the "tile" UI. It has to feel like it has a background like iOS 7. (Still using iOS 7.1.2)

If you ditch the camera and branding

It seams that all HTC have done is flatten out the M7 in order to make it as thin as possible. So if the A9 is an M7 flattened out, and the A9 is a clone of the IP6..... what then is the IP6?

It does look like IP6 but IP6 looked like M7 so HTC did it first.

So the A9 is a $399 M7 running android 6.

But nobody will click the article if it were mentioned over the iPhone 6.
