Basically you have 4 screws behind the motherboard to remove the whole heatsink. Then on the two seperate heatsinks attached by a heatpipe, you have 2 screws on each side to remove one of the four parts of the red heatsinks. I find it odd they made it like that instead of 2 pieces of red heatsink.

I had a bit of trouble with one screw (The last one of course), but my screw driver might've been a bit inadequate.

Alright, cool. Thanks a lot, I will start taking things apart shortly.

Since MSI won't give us a micro ATX Krait, I decided to paint them white. Again, I appreciate the info. biggrin.gif

That looks like some pro work, fits the board nicely I think. thumb.gif

I appreciate it. I used Plastidip just in case I didn't like it.

Anyways, Duality, what did you do to the Audio Boost cover? Since I turned off the LED's in the BIOS, I just removed the cover since it wasn't doing anything.

It's just a piece of black vinyl, but I will be turning them off in the BIOS once I get a chip in this board (which I'm kind of still looking for)

So I kind of received an Antec EDG750 in the mail yesterday, this power supply will look epic in this case! biggrin.gif

I also own an Antec EDG550, but after modding it (changing the fan, modding the grill, holes, etc) I managed to get a metal chip in somewhere causing a short and killing it.

This will be my 6th Antec power supply in the last year, they're really great. 3x Antec VP450, an EDG550, EDG750 and HCP-1300!

How horrible of me, I just realized I never posted the pictures of the case in here frown.gif

I had done a photoshoot the night of the 28th, but I was really, really unhappy with how the pictures came out. This included the unboxing and product pictures. I decided to redo the shoot this morning with natural light instead of the lighting method I used. I ask you to not comment on the quality of the pictures of the unboxing, I hate them, but since I wasn't going to repackage everything back, they'll have to do.

You can view my review of the case here smile.gif

So bad news, my MSI Z97M Gaming has bent pins frown.gif I think it prevents some instructions to be loaded as it always stays on the windows boots logo. I've tried formatting a few times and booting different OSes.

I'm checking with MSI to see what I could do.
