Same here.

I get it all for $7.99/month. I got grandfathered in when Play was offering the intro price. thumb.gif

Why do I feel like this is actually going to be a porn section for youtube? Think about it, paying to view content is the only way to truly verify age. You can already do everything else they listed on youtube for free, and there are plenty of other services that do it better for music and movies.

it's either

paid subscriptions

ads

data-mining of personal info

personally i'm more than happy with ads. nothing is free

Awesome! Yeah, I jumped on the 7.99 intro price too when it came out!

Even though the everyone is hating on the name I don't mind competition especially when Amazon has the worst device support of them all! I Just have amazon for the 2-day Shipping thumb.gif

I think the YouTube gaming is going to fail hard though, which is a bummer since I prefer the interface and quality over twitch.

Yeah, if all that the 10 bucks gets you is add free viewing, and you can get that with adblock for free, I'm not sure what the incentive is for people to sign up for this service.

Okay fine, obligatory joke comment:
Maybe they are moving into a new market with this tongue.gif
Have to figure out a way to pay people like Linus and LvLcap so they can purchase new fancy buildings and cars. rolleyes.gif

I don't see the point of it beyond marketing to the kiddies. Streaming and uploading gameplay to YouTube was fine before.

Please, if the results of googling those words would shock me, I really don't belong on the internet.

Redtube is tame. It's like a goldfish in a pond compared to the rest of the internet.

Ugh, scaring/pranking videos are the worst. :/

It's only funny if you're there.
