GTX 970m OC ?

Hey guys, since my first attempt to change the bios with the GTX 980 Ti was an amazing step, i want to play with my GTX 970m, i've never tried playing with laptop GPU's before, because i didnt actually used them, i found them useless compared to the Desktop, but with the new 9xx series i found amazing results for small machines, so i got one for outside duties.

My laptop is Sager NP8258 (Clevo P157SM-A), got it from Xotic PC, it was a good deal for 1304$ with 6GB vRam tongue.gif

So yeah, any one have tried and/or want to play with the laptop's GPU's, i know they are not as powerful compared to the desktop, but i am really amazed with gap improvements.

Tell me what you think people, should i try the usual OC tools or what, can i find tweaked bios somewhere ??

Thanks in advance smile.gif

On the stock vBIOS you can do +135mhz core and +500mhz memory. Almost every GTX970M should do +135mhz core and +250mhz mem without breaking a sweat. But to go further you'd need to look into getting an unlocked vBIOS.

Currently on my GTX970M I'm at 1300mhz core (+262mhz) and 6ghz mem (+495mhz) and the temps top out at about 79c.
