[WCCFtech]AMD Updating Entire Graphics Line-Up In The Coming Quarters – 14nm/16nm Arctic Islands GPUs Arriving In 2016 - Page 4

Can't they give us a better idea of what 2016 means? That could be such a short wait or a very long one. I just switched to 1440P and these 7970's are feeling it. I want to go to a single card solution for now that will stomp these cards in their best possible scenario (I play mostly BF4 which gets just about perfect scaling).

With Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3 coming soon i have a feeling I will be playing at really reduced settings and not pumped about it. I'm not really interested in anything available currently knowing whats coming soon...ish...

DX12 will just bring 290X more life. Yeah power/heat is a problem for a lot of people but i got mine under water since day 1 and was well worth it.

Totally agree, the 290X is still a beat of a card and kills any card in it's price range.

Although, it would be awesome to have that speed in a smaller form factor and cheaper price. The Nano is such a good card, but it's price is just too high. Release a GPU like that for $350-$399, and people would go crazy. I'd sell my GTX 980 in a heartbeat.

GCN up to 290X even though had crappy cooling could at least Overclock with good cooler or Water Cooling. The Fury line seem to be pretty bad at overclocking which is the main reason i dont like them. I hope 16nm changes this got GCN.

First part isn't adressed specifically at you:
That just mean they are going to take the 16nm train. You all did agree that it has been way too long 28nm. Now you are all flaming cause AMD's planning to go 16nm?
Just when are you all happy guys?

To answer exactly your sentence, I believe "all at once" means "all cards that will rank in rx 4xx". Even if it says "at once", it can be deployed other weeks or months.

Good, hopefully by then i would have graduated from uni and can actually spend my time gaming again. 40% Faster than a 980 Ti or BUST.

May be good news for some, but the 2X 285s are doing fine. Yes, 3 x 2650 monitors would be nice. However the desk is too small and the room is too small and the house is too small. I don't think the wife wants too move either.
