Please help me to overclock my AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T

Hello People.
I'd like to overclock my cpu.
One of my friends redirected me to this site.
I really am a noob at overclocking.
Never done it before so i hoped you guys could help me.
I'm using a prety weird setup i know.
Please help me, i've never done this before and i don't want to accidentally kill my pc.

Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T 3.20GHz
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-15D
Memory: 20gb DDR3
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7800 series
Windows 10 Home
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
PSU: cooler master 850w silent pro

20 gigabytes of ram is a really weird configuration. I would try to use whatever matched pairs you have and pull the rest. Also you didn't list your motherboard or psu which is very important.

That isn't an overclocking friendly motherboard. 4+1 phase plus no heatsinks on them.

Oke, so you suggest i buy a new motherboard?
What motherboard would you recommend?

are you limited to a m-atx?

if not look around for one with the features that interest you and has a heatsink on the mosfets. then let us know what they might be.
