about to chuck my computer out the window after upgrading. windows 10 refuses to boot as RAID in bios.

heres my situation.

so i had windows 7, did the upgrade to 10, then I did a factory reset since it still had all of my old junk and drivers on it.

got all of my regular drivers going, then on my last driver was intel storage matrix, installed that so my raid1 would work, i have an ssd as my OS drive and 2 1tb drives for backup.

installed it, restarted and i got an error saying:
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

tried safe mode, didnt work, tried changing from raid to AHCI, didnt work, tried IDE, didnt work.

i left it in AHCI and did a factory reset

factory reset worked, and I tried about every registry change I could find to make windows 10 boot in raid mode, as a last ditch effort I tried reinstalling the intel driver again, and to my surprise I had to be in windows as RAID to install it, but its impossible to be in raid with w10, apparently.

so I tried setting it to RAID and then do ANOTHER factory reset, but it was impossible to do a factory reset and boot into windows as raid, as soon as I switched to AHCI it worked.

so any ideas on how to make this work? this is completely ridiculous, I had raid1 going on my windows 7 installation after 30 minutes and i had never messed with any raid configurations before.

solved!!!

had to do a completely fresh windows installation from USB, and install 4 year old raid drivers at the time of the OS install to make it work.
