EK-XLC Predator 360 (incl. QDC) Information Update!

Thread Starter
SO I inquired about getting this new Predator 360. The thing is I don't want the CPU cooler, especially if I am going to full block my GPU.

So here is the new information I got from EKWB:

My EMail:

I would like to get the EK-XLC Predator 360 (incl. QDC) but instead of the CPU water block that comes on it, is there a way to connect it to a full VGA water block, (EK-FC980 GTX TF5 - Acetal+Nickel) for my MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G?

Their response:

Dear customer

Thank you for contacting us.
We are really sorry, but sadly the EK-XLC Predator units are being made and sold a s a complete and final products and we can't change water blocks used in it.
You can of course add the GPU water block to it with the QDC fittings.

Please check the following press release - http://www.ekwb.com/news/641/19/EK-brings-EK-XLC-Predator-360-to-life/

As you can see, on the November 5th we start selling the pre-filled GPU water blocks that will be made especially for this unit and you will be able to simply plug it into the system.

Best regards, Igor

Hopefully they will release pre-filled radiators as well because if I HAVE to have the cpu and GPU in the same loop I would like to put a radiator in-between each device.

Any particular reason for this? It's really not necessarily, in any sort of way.

Because then you will have not only the GPU but the computer CPU as well heating the liquid before it's cooled. There for you temps will not be as optimal as they could be. Adding a radiator in between each dvice would disapate heat from the previous device and give each device the best temp cooling liquid possible.

Sorry, but this is just not true. This is only relevant if your flow is incredibly low, the Predator has the most powerful pump in the AIO market so this is not the case smile.gif

Good to know!

Any pricing on full Predator with GPU pf-refilled add-ons?

It's looking like it will be a $30 upgrade for a prefilled GPU block with QDC (on top of the base cost of a GPU block). So in total you will be looking at $240+ ~$150.

Not bad for piece of mind, and quick set up. Tax time can't come quick enough!
