Am aware of SLI/ CF issues but I want to hear from its users how improved they have been recently.
Games I play a lot are only high end games, will be jumping onto Battlefront for example. Monitor is OC 95hertz @ 1440p. Ask if am missing anything.

I have a 295x2 which is crossfire 290x pretty much and lately the crossfire experience has been very good. For the majority of games, I get a nice boost and it is pretty smooth. I think the drawback is patience for drivers and patches. Only issue I have had has been waiting for drivers and a lot of times Nvidia sponsored games do not work with Crossfire at launch. We had to wait or deal with bugs in Far Cry 4, Witcher 3, Dying Light among others.

I haven't really experienced any problems with my 2 x 970 SLI set up. New release games need driver updates to get the best performance going, but...that's true of single card setups as well. Scaling could be better, but....hopefully DX12 can help in that area.

Sli is very good these days. I've been using 2 and 3 way for years now with mini al problems. Here latley its been much better than 3 years ago. Using Windows 10 too.

That's pretty relative to what I'm doing. Can you be more specific? Like...benchmarks?

I cap all my games at 60fps and run vsync....but I don't have any games that I can't max out in 1080p, and hold them pretty steady at that 60fps. Yeah..I know. I'm buying a 144hz monitor for my Christmas present...merry christmas to me... = P

If you didn't already know how to log frametimings: (Click to show)

You sane save them as a .txt file> right click .txt file > send to Zipped Folder
In the OCN text editor there is a paperclip.
Click it and select the zipped .txt file and upload it here. thumb.gif

Not benchmarks because they are made to scale well.

Basically any game you want.
I'd be interested in GTA5, FC4, Crysis 3, etc...

I'd also welcome youtube vids with RTSS showing the frametimings.

I've never done SLI and I'm curious to see if SLI works good enough for me to run it in titles it works well in.

Make sure you cap the framerate some how. wink.gif

I've never used Rivatuner. I can benchmark with Action recorder, but I don't think it'd give you what you're looking for. The only new game I have downloaded atm, is MGS5. I have Arkham Knight, but I'm not downloading it again. I hated it. I could do Shadows of Mordor this weekend....but, that's getting pretty old now I guess.

Shadow of Mordor is my best, Witcher 3 was gonna take it place but couldn't lol. Will be great to see how SLI will scall on it rolleyes.gif
