New rig I just built, old TV is now all pixilated and crappy looking?

Now using a 980Ti, old computer had nothing even close, but the TV was perfect clarity.

It's this monitor...http://www.amazon.com/Magnavox-29ME403V-F7-29-0-Inch-720p/dp/B00CCILKNO

Before this new rig, the picture was just how it should be...perfect. Now, even Blu-Ray video is just all grainy and crappy, have the same resolution set, but I don't know what else to try.

Anyone have an idea?

It's connected with an HDMI (from the tv) to DVI-D (into the GPU).

What ya mean by any adapters?

Yes, the TV is recognized, and it's set in the nvidia control panel to stock specs.

What were you using before?

Honestly probably time to get a new TV, a 980ti with a 720p screen?....

That has to be a joke.

not a joke at all...it was a r9 280 I used to use. I don't need a new tv, it's just a friggen tv...it played perfectly before and now it's not. Trying to figure out why, don't need opinions on buying a new one man.

Completely new rig, no previous drivers. I've tried messing with a few different settings, but nothing I do helps, the only thing I can think of (in my limited knowledge) is changing the cable for a straight hdmi to hdmi.

Using newest VLC player, like I always have.

Running a straight HDMI cable would probably be my next step.

Make sure your colour profile is set correctly in the Nvidia control panel. RGB 444 IIRC.
