Motherboard for i7 6700K - Need Help!

Could you guys give me some information on what the best Z170 1151 Socket Motherboards are to consider purchasing for my new build? I've been trying to read up and even comparing them side by side on Newegg and most of the quality offerings seem to be extremely similar and I'm getting no closer to deciding than I was at the beginning of last week. I'm looking for the mid to high tier boards ($199-$299 range) where they handle everything you could possibly need, overclock well, robust features, and of course reliability & solid warranty.

Here are the ones that have caught my eye so far in no particular order. The only noticeable difference I see side by side is the superior audio chipset used in the Gigabyte and Asus models along with the dual Intel/Killer NIC in the Gigabyte while the rest appear to have Intel. I'm assuming there are minor differences in power phases, as well, which will effect the overclocking performance, correct?
(By the way, this will be installed in a Noctis 450 for aesthetic reference.)

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO

GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming GT

GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 7

MSI Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION

MSI Z170A GAMING M7

As for what will be connected to the Motherboard:

Intel i7 6700K

2x 780 Tis in SLI or 2x 970s in SLI

16GB DDR4 Memory (4GB x 4 Sticks and 3200 Mhz most likely.)

SSD + 2 x HDDs (At Least)

I will purchase whatever power supply is required as this is a new build from scratch. I'm just planning it out so I can order everything.

What do you guys think? Any solid recommendations from these choices or other better options I missed or cheaper options that are as good or better? I will gladly read more on the subject I just can't seem to find solid comparisons.

Thanks!

Also interested in answer. They all do seem similar but from the skylake overclock thread it seems most people go with the hero. But on newegg the hero has bad reviews with 3/5 stars. People say updating bios and drivers is a total mess

Aside from the Newegg reviews, people seem to be loving the Hero. Have you read through the review comments on Newegg? lol Some of them are absolutely ridiculous...One person blamed the motherboard's SATA cable for destroying his hard drive and gave it one star....another ranted about it only having one M2 port instead of 2 and gave it one star....it lists the number of M2 ports in the specs. lol If you look on Amazon, it has ~ 4.75 / 5 stars so it's a completely different story there.

For whatever reason, there have been no replies on here but I've spoken with people on hardforum and read through a billion threads in which everyone recommends the Hero. I think most say the Gigabyte boards are great, as well, but I've read there are more problems with the MSI boards than the rest. I'm honestly disappointed there is no "Formula" model in this gen between the Hero and Extreme. That's always been the one I've gone with. However, the Hero seems to have everything I could want and looks absolutely beautiful.

I wish there was more info to help decide but the boards seem to similar in terms of technical specs so I guess you just have to go with which one has the features you like most, looks the best with your build, and is made by a company you trust with quality and support.

I own an MSI 170a m5 and I cannot recommend it (and by extension the m7) for overclocking.

I will probably be returning my m5 and exchanging it for an Asus motherboard soon (based on the Skylake overclocking thread previously mentioned).
