[HardOCP] DOOM Multiplayer Closed Alpha Gameplay Video - Page 8

The gameplay does seem slow, if you look at gameplay of the original quake/doom ,it makes this feel like it's beeing played in slow mo. Even Halo seems more fast paced.

evolution is welcome, as long as it doesn't become alteration. Also, I wouldn't say that people who still drink water are "living in the past": you should not attempt to improve what's already perfect.

But don't we try to improve water? Filters, ionizers, a million different kinds of bottled water "reinforced with _____"?

Filtered water is all about marketing, there's no real benefit from drinking it.

OT: Care to back up that claim? As someone who worked in water purification, I'll go out on a limb and guess that you have not a clue of what you speak. There absolutely are benefits to filtered water over tap water. Unless you just enjoy drinking chlorine..... and organics.... and every other small molecule/chemical not removed in city water processing. Ya... No

It's called reverse osmosis, read about it

On topic, Game looks OK. As some have stated, very slow. Maybe my tastes have changed, but I would much rather play Borderlands 3 in Co-op than this. I know they are not comparable and BL 3 does not exist yet, but I can't get into Arena deathmatch these days.

Even turnbased RPG seems like more fun.... I must be weird.

Well, I'd like to link you to Penn/Tellers BS movie on it, but I'm sure you can google just fine. Secondly I work with filtered water too as a scientist, and I can say that people don't need to be drinking MillQ water, in fact drinking it actively hurts you.

The main benefit from my perspective is the stable flavor. It doesn't taste like leaves decaying in the fall nor does it taste like my house's nasty iron pipes during the rest of the year. Back when I lived with my parents, I enjoyed drinking tap water except during the fall. It tasted fine. In my own house, it makes me gag.

Yeah, I guess flavor is a benefit. I did end up drinking a lot of filtered water while living in Mesa Arizona, really nasty tasting tap water down there, however I spent most of my days on a bike, so I eventually built up a flavor tolerance to it from draining a couple camelbaks a day worth of water.
