CaseLabs "Goliath" on the loose - Page 3

So THW10 essentially doubles the space for mounting optical drives, fan controllers, etc. That indeed is a very welcome change. From my experience with TH10A, I ended up sacrificing an optical drive for a 140.3 mount. Attaching radiator-fan "sandwiches" to top and bottom surfaces was a bit tricky, too - something that removable mounts improve on. I wonder if the middle plate is now right in the middle?

However, how does it accommodate 560 radiators if it is the same depth as TH10A? 480 ones take most part of that with not much left.

Sounds great to me! (A TX10 junior wink.gif )
By removable radiator mounts I assume you mean drop in mounts? Since there are 2 at each end, do they use the single wide one and you can mix and match the mount types? (makes sense from a production view if you can use the same part over a range of products).

This should be good

I am REALLY happy that I didn't complete my TH10A order yet.. Was really close to pulling the trigger but this changes everything!

They have the same clearance as they do in the pedestal or STH10/SMA8. It is close and you would likely use the use of the adjacent Flex-Bays (except maybe for fans). The 480 mount is offset, like the others, so you have a better chance of making use of the Flex-Bays if needed.

The radiator mounts are different than any other design largely because of the issues of getting 560's to work in a TH10 frame. The mounts are universal and interchangeable.

What will price look like? Please let it be an arm or a leg, not the whole torso.

So is this still designated as being part of the Magnum series? Or is it the first of the Gemini series? Or is it something else again?

It will be getting closer to the STH10

It is a Magnum although there are a couple Gemini elements. . Gemini is slated for next year (most likely by late Q2). Goliath will also have an optional provision for an auxiliary MB. The THW10 is the only case we have (outside the TX10) that can have two PSU's and still have radiators top and bottom.

Gemini will be an entire line of cases that launch at different times during next year or all at once?

Will there be four or five cases within the Gemini family?

Will there be a smaller 8-slot horizontal made to be placed on top of a computer desk something similar to the S8S, not very tall but still able to mount an E-ATX motherboard?

If yes, then I would buy two G8 shorts or whatever the name ends up being and create a separate build log for both of them, because a separate build log is the best thing to do. thumb.gif

To add, I would make them extremely informative Gemini build logs and if you could give me advice on a new camera please, so I could create better photographs, so far I try to capture the subject of the photo as best I can and use natural white spectrum lighting, but all I have is a phone camera, so I need advice on something better.

Is there any digital camera in the $400 to $800 range worth buying?

I really can’t afford a $6000 camera, although I know they are very good.
