TH10A shows its age as well, being (AFAIK) the only case with non-removable radiator mounts - just a solid top / bottom plate with pre-cut holes. THW10 catches up on this one and brings the design on par with the latest and greatest, among with a few more improvements.

Not really.

The m8/m8a line ( with the exception of mine and the single prototype in the caselabs vault ) does not have drop-ins and the TH10a just came out with in the last year ( with in 6 months iirc )

The primary changes are the dual Flex-Bay stacks, 140.x radiator support (of course 120.x is still supported), and removable mix & match mounts. They will be a little different than conventional drop-in mounts because of space limitations with large radiators (560). All the other features of the TH10A will be the same.

I assume there will be an inverted option... ? Will you offer the kits similar to the other cases, where I can swap between inverted / regular? I would think just the backplate would have to be swapped and not *also* the mobo tray?

Any plans to pursue / release anything with a 90* / vertical orientation?

The THW10 will be the same as the current TH10A in those respects At launch, there will not be an associated pedestal - we'll have to see how much demand there is for it. I'm not sure it's really needed.

Not with any of the current case lines. It might be something we'll consider for the future.

Will retrofit USB 3.1 Type A and USB Type C front I/O ports and panels become available as accessory add-ons in 2016 for the Magnum Merlin and Mercury families?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask the question but since we’re on the subject of future products for next year and it seems as though Mercury will remain current throughout the year, it would be great to be able to upgrade the front panel connectivity.

It's our hope that we will be able to offer 3.1 retrofits, but it will depend on Silverstone as they supply most of our panels. There was a big lag to 3.0 because they were so slow to update their line. Going forward next year, we will be sourcing our own so we won't have those delays to contend with.

Gah... you know... I bought a TH10 in February of 2013 and just rebuild my TH10 with a X99 hardline watercooling setup. I was going to get the TH10A because I really am starting to dislike the way the TH10's motherboard tray is UBER long and the TH10A has mounts for 2 tube reservoirs. But now I'm holding off for the THW10... or should I just get a STH10 and call it a day? I'm so confused! Should I wait longer for even newer cases?

I. JUST. DON'T. KNOW!

I also bought a TH10.
I just bought the SM8, starting to like the smaller, modern looking style cases but something I can still stick some big rads in. The TH10 is just massive and looks weird in my office... I had way too much free space in it.
The SMA8 was my other option but, again, seems way too big if you don't do two cylinder res.

Smaller, slicker looking cases seem to get getting popular.

Yeah but it's still fun to have a massive case to build whatever you want in it.
