If @Elrick likes Star Trek, he'll be my perfect guy biggrin.gif

Back on topic: I'm guessing people just want a ... well ... a mouse with no gimmicks and a good sensor?

I won't lie, I do like the LED lighting on my SS Rival ...

I don't know why someone could say G502 has the worst cord ever, to me the braided cord of the G502 is wonderful.
For the OP, I own both mice and i don't think you can go wrong with either but if you play a lot of FPS at low sensitivity you could opt for the DA which is lighter.
BTW a like the scroll wheel of the G502 and the tilt clicks come in handy very often.

Someone who knows me so well cheers.gif .

Logitech could of turned the world of input devices upside down by sticking with proven shapes and updating them with current sensors like the 3366 and updated AM010.

Instead we got the current rubbish so now again, we sit and wait for their future updates and trust that they will listen to their former customers on what shapes to use.

Logitech all the way. Click latency is noticeable if not now then certainly as you get better. And especially if you switch between the mouses. Timing the click for what's shown on display becomes different.

Although I do prefer the shape of the deathadder, so I use it for mainly desktop usage.

I own both mice, and I'll throw in another vote for the G502. It's a quality piece of hardware.

Subjectively, it's better for my needs (more buttons, buttons fit my grip better, matches my desktop better). Also, I play at very high sensitivity, and I prefer not to move my hand much at all, so the higher weight & better sensor suit my preferences. I don't know how people manage at low sensitivity when they have to move their hand all over the place. Blows my mind - my wrist hurts just thinking about it! I prefer setting my sensitivity so that a few short inches will take me across the entire screen (1440p).

Objectively, well, mice are hard to review objectively, since they're all different enough that nobody can agree (proof - read every mouse recommendation thread ever posted).

Also - I don't get the hate for the mouse wheel on the G502 - lots of people find it big, awkward and clunky. Doesn't seem to be big and clunky to me - I quite like it. More evidence towards my position that no mouse recommendation thread will ever come to a consensus. Haha.

Low sens players don't hurt their wrists because they mostly use their arms for amining (with small microadjustments with their wrist); I certainly do anyway.
