Any brand and model is a safe bet. I prefer the Gigabyte but I have heard good things about the Palit. thumb.gif

The palit power input is 6+8 and the gigabyte is 8+8 this makes a difference when overclocking ?
Its me or gigabyte have more and better components.

I'm running GTAV in 4K DSR, getting a nice 50-60FPS with 2xMSAA and everything on Ultra except Grass and Detailed Shadows IIRC (Very high). I keep forgetting to run my OC on startup with MSIAB since throwing the 980Ti in too, so it should be pretty constant when running the OC.

Goddamn I'm so glad I did, to be fair I'm pretty sure it wouldn't look too different at 1440 with everything turned up, plus I'd get consistently higher frames, but I'll have to have a play around.
About time I got me a higher refresh rate monitor methinks.

Eh, that was only on the 970 due to how they tried a workaround with the way they cut the chip, instead of knocking out another 3GB card.
Granted, it kind of fluffed up, but I'd rather 3.5GB than 3GB.
There's loads of information on the specifics of how it worked on the internet, I'll not go into much detail here as most people know and the information is easily found. smile.gif

Answering my above question imput power makes a difference when overclocking ?
And the "quality" of the card itself (between these two brands)
