Air Lock?

Putting a second loop in my pc and am having some troubles with my XSPC D5 Vario pump, currently the set up is res>pump>rad>rad>NB>CPU>RAM> then back to the res, with the res full turned on the pump, it spins the water but nothing is moving in the tubes. So i took it out, put it upside down in a bucket of fluid, and it spun it just fine, got a good whirlpool. then put it back in the system, and back to not moving anything. This isnt my first build but this is stumping me. Thanks in advance!

The reservoir is feeding into the pump in the direction its spinning, right?

As in, the pump isn't trying to push the water back into the reservoir?
