ASUS ROG GTX 980 Ti Poseidon Platinum cooler

I am interested in upgrading my GPU to the ASUS ROG but notice that nowhere does it mention what cooler or recommended cooler to be used.
The price of the card in Australia is already high and to fork out an extra couple hundred for a cooler could mean the difference between this card and other hybrids.

The ROG platinum has two G1/4 threads for adding it to a custom loop. You really only need a 120mm radiator for the GPU. If you are looking for simplicity, the EVGA Hybrid may be a better choice.

I could take the easy way out and buy the EVGA or MSI Hybrids but something in the specs of the Poseidon has me worried about the other brands.
They all mention Max Digital Resolution with both EVGA and MSI at 4096x2160 whereas the Poseidon is 5120x3200 (dual displayport).

Now I have triple 27" monitors and need the most out of the card. Is it something to take note of or not that important?
