Suggestion for Themis Boreas fans replacement

Thread Starter
Hi I am tired of this Boreas fans on my Themis and I am planning to buy two new fans for it. I was aiming on Coolermaster Sickleflow two of those I already have one in my case and don't have any problems with it, meaning no weird noises he is pushing air out very good I even mount rubber screws on it so vibrations are minimal. So my question is, is CM Sickleflow okay replacement for Boreas ? If not, what do you suggest in that similar price range.

Thanks

What do you not like about your Boreas fans? In other words, what are you looking for in new ones.

Welcome to overclock.net.

Thanks.

Problem is that some high frequency noise is coming out of them. When they are both connected it's louder, and when I disconnect one of them and leave just one On noise is still presist, but much quieter. Noise is just too iritating and I would like to replace them.

I even recorde it and send it to Raijintek, but they are so so slow on answering on mail

here is a recording, listen closely to that high freq. noise in the background and you will hear that high freq. noise

I would advise against the CM Sickleflows as I've seen too many negative comments about them.

For $5-10 grab some Artic F12 or Scythe Slip Streams.

At $15 a piece Corsair SP120's are great fans for heatsinks/radiators.

SP120L are they good ? Hmm but they seem loud, 35dB because I will run them on max.

My friend is selling 2xSP120L for 15$

I'm not sure the SP120L is the same as the standalone unit. Are these fans he received with a Corsair radiator?

Yup they came with H100i.

I would ask him if you could try them out at full speed or listen to them in his computer. Just realized your cooler is only $30 so you probably don't want to spend another 30 on fans.
