PWM fan hubs, phanteks for e.g. sells one that can do 11 fans, couple of those and you are good.

Depends... what fans?

For most, a PWM splitter would be just fine.

Of course if you want to have better control of those fans, you can opt to use the expensive aquaero.

SInce you're posting in the water cooling section, I presume you have some pumps as well?
You can use the aquaero to control those too, along with monitoring temps and water level.

Depends largely on the fans make & model used. In most cases its around 8 fans per PWM header/signal. Why? Signal loss probably.
In case of Corsair fans : 2 Fans, even getting 4 fans to work correctly is a challenge. Corsair fans do not adhere very well to the PWM industry standard. If you want to be 100% sure the fans are compliant with the industry standard, you need industrial fans: Delta, SanAce, NMB, Papst, etc

However, repeaters & boosters exists... with the right PWM splitter/booster, you can have +8 fans on one header/signal without issues.
Note that cheap, thin Akasa splitter cables are not the "right PWM splitter/booster" smile.gif

Also, several Motherboards have "multiple (PWM) Fan headers".. in reality, at least one of them is just a clone of the only header you can be sure of: CPU_FAN1. In a lot of cases the CPU_OPT fan header is a clone of CPU_FAN1.
Thus you could use TWO 8x PWM splitters to drive 16 PWM fans.

Hence it all depends or:
-your MB and the number of real PWM fan headers
-the PWM fans you want to use.
