Iris Graphics 6200 + DGpu would be a smart move.
Anyone know if the GPU has to be DX12 as well?
Im tempted to try R7 250 with my 570 just to see what happens (still no wddm 2.0 support for fermi), but dropping money onto ashes just seems risky.

I don't have to buy cards in "sets" anymore, I can just rotate out my oldest card every year or so. That's a powerful ability to get great performance on a more reasonable budget.

Of course, this would have to be implemented by a good size portion of devs. That's the only issue I see.

The only thing I see as being useful is maybe picking up 3-5 more FPS by using the non-used built in GPU if you have a discrete GPU.

But beyond all that, all my questions still stand.

Maybe this can be useful if AMD has a strong APU coming with Zen.

Personally, I will not go for an async or a g-sink monitor and I have both AMD and Nvidia cards kicking around and would love the opportunity to play/test/mix and match.

It's not untrue that for many games AMD users have to wait longer periods of time for CrossFireX profiles.

The Intel iGPU's are barely keeping up with the OLD 3000/4000 APU series in terms of GPU power.

Coming from someone with only Intel/nVidia parts, your comment is totally useless. And yes, this is another win for AMD users, because if you check, you will see that there is still no Crossfire profile for one of the MGS games 3 months after release (not that it is needed).
