Gaming mouse - similar shape like MX1000

Hi all,

For several weeks I am trying to get a gaming mouse with similar shape like old and good Logitech MX1000. I have tried these:

Razer Deathadder - good mouse, I like the buttons and SW. But I do not like the shape, low height and low weight for me. After several hours I start to feel slight pain, with MX1000 I did not feel any pain after whole day.
Logitech G502 - small, not enough space for my pinky and ring finger, I like them straighten forward.

It is weird, I have small hands but prefer bigger (higher) and heavier mouse.
Grip - mix of palm, claw (front of my palm resting on the mouse)

What I need:
- 2-3 thumb buttons
- I use 2000-3000 dpi
- SW where I could set different settings for different programs

I do not care if it is wired or not, just it fits my hand smile.gif

I am thinking about G602, but 6 thumb buttons? I am not an MMO player and I think I would find that confusing...

Thanks for help.

hey man, check out the mionix castor! very similar shape and has a great sensor. there's also the mionix naos 7000 which has a weird ergo shape like that, but it's larger and heavier.

I may have a look at them in a shop, but I am afraid of low weight and height same as Deathadder...

If the DA is too small for you, and G602 has too many buttons, G700s might be an option for you. It's just about the same height as the MX1000. G400s looks to be a similar shape to me.

Maybe a "non-gaming grade" mouse to consider is an MX Master?

You could try Xornet 2 which is a fairly wide mouse.

G400s is not in the market anymore as far as I know... there is G402 but it has the same ridge on the right side as G502 which is causing I do not have place where to put my pinky finger.

I think I will try G700s or G602 at the moment, not really liking MX Master. I may have a look at CM Xornet as well, if I find the place they sell them in my country.

You can get them on Amazon or eBay for $40-$60.

And the ridge on the right side is much different than the ridge on the G402.
