Please don't misunderstand what I am saying either, Nvidia would have some angry customers if they shifted focus to Linux as well.
Let's not forget that AMD also has to worry about splitting their very limited resources two more ways ... one for the PS4 and it's OS and one for the XBox One and it's OS.
I've been saying this for years ... AMD doesn't have enough money and resources to fight a two front war with Intel and nVidia. Heck, Intel spends more money on R&D than AMD MAKES!
Now if AMD wants to seriously delve into Linux, they will be splitting resources between Windows, 2 consoles, and Linux.
nVidia has done a lot more work in the past, and is doing a lot now with Linux because of their super computer and Tesla work ... not to mention they have a lot more money ... so nVidia has a stronger advantage.
