What it is with diablo, when you run the game in full screen mode with vsync on, you have crossfire, so i turned on windowed mode and voila gone were the artifacts.

As im even starting to find myself a bit unbelieveable at this point, i made some screenshots and managed to capture the artifacts, dont know if thats a good thing or no (as in the hardware is ok), and they always appear in the same places.

Intel(R) JPEG Library, version 1,5,4,36

haha smile.gif likewise my friend, one of the reasons im trying to get this card back to its original performance, i've been looking at the newer 270x and 280x cards as upgrade now i want to play more demanding games etc. its just i feel when this baby works, it wont underperform much compared to, wich is a hunch im having, was also literally flabbergasted when i ran mad max on high / ultra.

Hmm, can't really tell but are you using Aero?

Dayum gedosato is demanding, just installed it and played with some 7xxx something resolution and vsync was no longer keeping up, duh, only got 2 x 1gb biggrin.gif, thus stressing em pretty good, will keep it going for a while standing in town and see if the artifacts come up withouth alt tab or loading a screen etc.

Very appreciate it you helping me thusfar, you seem pretty beastly at problem solving and thinking outside the box.

To this point we narrowed it pretty good i think, im also going to see what the stable released 15.7 drivers do with crossfire. as in, can i make it broken again. Else i think playing around with linux should clear it up, if it happens there aswell i will just safe some cash and drop it, but in no way giving up yet. ^^.

Will keep you posted.

Thank you. Been forced to learn how to troubleshoot since I was 9, since no one else in the household knew how.

Ok so the memory seems to be performing well. My policy regarding amd drivers is to stay away from beta, even if they offer crossfire support, I just don't trust em. YMMV.

As a crazy idea, try with windows classic instead of Aero, just to see if thats the cause.

Too bad, Aero didnt change much aswell as going back to 15.7 drivers.

Have made a youtube vid where i show that i have the game on with no artifacts, and then alt tab where they appear and i fix it again while in the same game by turned cfx on and off, i do this twice.

It's 3 minutes and youtube kinda did something to the quality wich i hope is allright.

Im now leaning towards ulps, it turns off 2nd gpu when its not needed (i just googled it) and saw that for the first time in gpu-z next beside that crossfire was enabled earlier today, gonna do some digging on that later on how to disable and stuff, just wanted to give an headsup.
