New USB wifi adapter

Hi, today, maybe, is the day i'll switch to fiber, so i will have a 100/10 connection. Right now i'm using my D-Link DIR 850L, a dual band router.
In my apartment wifi is very crowded on the 2.4ghz but 5ghz is totally empty, so i'm thinking about taking advantage of that.
My router is in another room to better cover all the house and my PC is 6/7m away from it. I CANNOT USE CABLE IN ANY WAY, i cannot drill my wall and pass some through, so i'll go with wifi.

Right now i have an Hamlet "something" n which runs just fine, but it's not 5ghz capable. Can you suggest me some good wifi adapter? I'll connect it to my Corsair k70 keyboard so i can unplug it when i need whitout going under my desk for the back i/o shield of my PC, so some not bulky adapter would be nice but i understand that "the bigger the better" because of the antenna.
Right now i saw a Netgear A6100 that seems ok and quite cheap (27€ on Amazon) but it's a 600mbps while my router is faster. Some other adapter that i should consider? I would like to stay under 40€ if it's possible, simply because the distance is not huge. Thanks

Are you just looking for USB or an internal PCIE adapter?

Pretty much anything 'AC 867" (or 1200 as it is 867 @ 5GHz and 300 @ 2.4 GHz) would match what your router can provide.
Das Rig, Ja?

I'm looking for some USB dongle. The PCIe is good but if i'm right they cost more and because my PC is on the floor, it will be on his back, so less signal i think. Moreover, it would be under my GPU and i don't want it to reduce my airflow. Lastly, and this is not something related to performance, they are ugly biggrin.gif

Right now, using my phone to have some value, on 5ghz (i have a Z3 Compact) i'm recording -72dBm. This is not looking good...
I've also noticed that a 2.4ghz connection, the one i'm using right now, is maxed out at about 30 mbps, also, according to windows my usb dongle speed is 39mbps.
Now, considering the distance and the fact that 5ghz should be a lower range connection, i'm quite a bit scared.
So, doing a recap:
-i would like an USB dongle 5ghz capable with a good antenna.
-i can now officially consider to run a wire through a wall
-i'm in Europe so my house is concrete, so no wood wall to cut through.
-100% sure, no powerline, i had one in the past and it made me crazy, many many problems.
