Custom PSU cover?

Thread Starter
I ordered an SM8 earlier this month and eagerly await it's arrival.

One thing that I considered going SMA8 for is the PSU cover (or well, "lower chamber" if you will) but in the end I thought the case an whole was too big.

This is kinda targeted at both Case Labs and you other guys.

Is a PSU cover of some kind for cases like the SM8 ever a possibility?

Also, is there any mod store that does this kind of work or have their own set of custom Case Labs accessories?

I don't think the effort is within me to make one myself but would be really cool if this is something is either is available or very well could be. thumb.gif

Unfortunately, we're unable to do custom parts. We'll certainly consider a PSU cover as a possibility for the future but can't say when (or if) it will happen.

Thanks

You can get one of those:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=psu+cover

Aluminum in CL cases is thick and is pretty easy to drill, cut, and to attach things to.

You could also make your own out of acrylic / polycarbonate sheet. They come in all colors, thicknesses, transparent, opaque, you name it, and are not to difficult to cut to a shape you need.

That's cool that there are that much available but I'm looking for a bigger piece to make sort of a lower chamber to hide the inevitable cable chunk sticking out of the PSU.
