Early 2016.

This is basically a demo. They don't delay the demos.

Was discussed in interviews and they're changing how they record.

It will most likely be free, like the GT Academy games.

They actually canned the old sound engineer and got a new one, a guy that did sounds for Forza.

Anywho, I'd have to buy a PS4 which I could do, but I'd also have to buy a G29 and I definitely will not buy a proprietary wheel just for one game. If the G27 worked with PS4, I'd buy a PS4 for this game, but I'm thinking I'll be skipping this iteration of GT, and hope for some better PC alternatives than we currently have.

So no one really had anything to say about...

Building on its legacy as the most realistic and accessible driving simulator

...from the article?

Forza isn't even a true simulator by any stretch and it's been leaps and bounds above the GT games for quite a while.. Did they also ever fix the sound in that game? Really realistic when everything, even a huge displacement v8 sounds battery powered and similar to the civic racing next to it rolleyes.gif

Bleh i forgot about this, sad because my 6-year old G25 is still very relevant on PC. I'm probably done with GT series for good then unless Sony change its mind about 3rd party peripheral support.

Never quite understood the fixation on engine sound, but then I'm probably jaded by racing in real life in which you can barely hear the engine/exhaust at all wearing an SA-rated, full-face helmet (hence why I installed a shift light in my track car years ago).

Also, I've said this before and I'll say it again: I'd bet that Sony / PD make the Logitech G-series wheels work with the next GT game. There are too many fans out there using them not to. It would be a massive mistake. (G25 user, myself)

Logitech recently just released the G29 (most likely going to be the official wheel of Gran Turismo 7) with the same internals as the G27 with the buttons from the DFGT but are charging nearly $200 more including shifter. It's unlikely they will add support for the G25/27 for this so they can get more G29 sales.
