Issue's with brand new watercooled 5930K, Rampage V ext and dual 480 Rads build

Hello forum !

So I've been trying to diagnose whats the cause of my weird windows 10 bugs ... I started as the start menu not working... After a refresh it became much worse.

After several clean installs and even a downgrade to window 7 (Some debate a downgrade aha) . I'm left staring at an event log screaming hardware issues. Which being a new build it not what I want at all....

Here is the build log but specs are also in the sig .
http://www.overclock.net/t/1564700/shadownet-i7-5930k-cosair-900d-dual-ek-xe-480-rads-980ti-build-log

Log of Refresh issues
http://www.overclock.net/t/1573847/windows-10-refresh-aftermath-issue

CPU: i7-5930K
Motherboard: ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME
Case: Obsidian SeriesĀ® 900D Super
RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3200Mhz CL16
PSU: SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1000W
Graphics car: GTX 970 hercluez x 4 ultra

Now knowing me and the fact I had been overclocking something ..I've got the horrible feeling I've fried something .

Apart from the mass OS reinstall and even using a different dive I have reset the Bios and ran memtest . Although it didn't even write the log file for it so ill have to re run it later tonight .

Ill run a Realbench for a good few hours , any other tools I should run to try figure out what needs RMA/Replacing.

UPDATE

I've had the RAM RMA'd and Im still getting issues . Extended Memtest is still in progress but no issues so far .Once complete I will do a clean install of the OS .

Next thing would be to RMA the Motherboard or CPU .

UPDATE

Extended Memtest from windows 10 freezes at 88% ... The progress gets slower and slower then frezees and is unresponsive... Same as before . So the issue is either the CPU or Motherboard ?

UPDATE

New motherboard has arrived .. New issues.

Core 5 ( 6th core) has to be disabled to get system stability
RAM slot B2 Will not register any RAM in the slot - RAM Tested fine

Can you try and reseat everything including the cpu. I wouldnt say its the ocing you did as modern motherboards make it near impossible to fry a chip. And might be best to confirm bios is restored to stock settings and that there is no oc software installed.

Thanks for reply .

Resinking the CPU was the last thing I did because of temp issues , Ill try it again and see if it helps . Yeah Bios was returned to stock and all running stock clocks.

Not sure whats going on with your OS, however I'd start with the Motherboard. Maybe call Asus, they might have a few ideas to test your machine with.

It just started going odd but after clean install the event log its full of "Run Memtest , possible hardware or memory issue "

OS will be because of the underlying issue. Yeah Ill raise a case with them and see what they say .

Thank you

I'm assuming you tested another set of RAM? If you are getting error messages with the RAM, then I'd test a set that I know works.

Dont have a spare set of DDR4 around I'm afraid .The error is genetic stating corruption/failure but hardware .

Just need to know what part before RMA etc . Will run an extended Memtest x 15 runs tonight and see if it is .

Possibly try one stick of RAM at a time, might have to order a single stick of RAM to do more troubleshooting. If you have a microcenter/Fry's, or whatever electronic store might have, you might find a stick or they might let you borrow some. Worth a shot.

I second this. Also try test the sticks in different slots incase a slot is bad.
