Looking for 5.1 External Soundcard with Upmix function

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a (if possible external) soundcard for my 5.1 System. I want to use it for my Computer, so it should be connected via USB. I also need to connect my Headphones + Mic to it. What I've tried so far is the Asus Xonar U7. The sound is good, the problem is that it misses the Upmix function, where I can play Stereo sound (like Music) from all Speakers+Subwoofer, which is very important to me.
Does anyone know such a soundcard for max. 80€?

Thank you!

You can do this in a number of media players. For all sounds, including from a browser, system sounds, etc. you would need driver-level support.

You might be able to run some kind of VST plugin? It's a Xonar but the third-party UNi Xonar drivers (which do have the feature, I'm pretty sure) don't support the U7.

I have no idea what this refers to, but maybe this fixes your problem?

I don't off the top of my head know which if any USB sound cards support the feature.

Thanks for your answer!

I already have a VST plugin in my music player. I'm looking for a Soundcard with drivers which can do that.
The solution from the link dont work, I already saw that too.
