Finished my build, just have to get a GTX 1080 when they're back in stock. It was really difficult getting the back glass plate on, not sure if it was the custom cables or what but it was a tight fit. I was able to get the Cryorig H5 Universal to fit even though pcpartpicker lists it as incompatbile, and was also able to fit a 2nd 120mm fan on the bottom.

so i just bought the 805 infinity for my first complete build, just waiting for the first batch to make its way to the store in about 2 weeks!. My plan is to get the asus x99 strix mobo, with the gtx 1080 strix and have everything running off the asus aura so the case, mobo, and gpu will all be lighted perfectly and easily biggrin.gif

Will anybody else be getting the infinity?

Got my new bird in and the rear radiator and redid the whole build. Very pleased with it. Still need to make the new psu shroud

Hi all I need some help with my fan setup. I don't have any bottom fans due to the custom psu cover. I have an nzxt x41 and the 120mm rear fan but I am having a lot of trouble keeping the temps down. Would anyone be able to give me some recommendations on types of fans, placement, push, pull etc. Also wondered if it's worth modding the bottom of the case so the power supply faces down.
Thanks

Block off the bottom front 120mm fan slot, it'll make sure it pulls air through your already shimmed from window.

Looks like you made a "basement" for your bottom power supply. This doesn't mean you can't put bottom inake fans as it's really the only real good location for the case to draw in fresh cool air. I plan on doing a basement in mine as well but will be putting in two 120mm fans for intake at the bottom. With the way the front is positioned, you can basically create a channel for the airflow to be intaked from the bottom and into the front of the case where the front fans and rad will go which then gets exhausted out the back of the case. This works in my head though since I haven't assembled and tested this in my build yet biggrin.gif

Thanks, do you think blocking off the bottom slot is better than putting in a 140mm fan there?

Yeah I may be able to remod the bottom cover so I can put atleast 1 x 120mm fan there, at the moment all my cables are hidden under there and would just get in the way of the fan i think. I am also going to test with the front glass completely removed and putting a fan on the front side of the fan mount vs the inside of the fan mount, if that makes sense. haha.
