hi all

New to the forum! When I found this thread in Google while looking for some ideas and I thought it would be good to show what I've attempted to do with my 805 with your unknowing help. There are some awesome looking builds in here and if mine can come close I'm happy as this was my first attempt at anything like this.

It is hard to get good pics due to the glass reflecting the light but hope this gives a good idea of what it looks like.

Some homemade extras with the PSU shroud at the bottom to hide the mess but also direct the air intake at the bottom towards the GPU to help cool with cooling. my PSU is a RM850 and is silent so the fan only kicks in when under massive loads which it never is as it is a little overpowered for the system!
Stole an idea off someone else and put rubber spacers in where the front glass panel screws to the case. This lifts the glass away by 3-4 mm which means the CPU radiator is drawing cool air through the front.

I think I need another LED strip at the top, but I quite like the dark look. Love to hear your feedback though smile.gif

Here is an update, after finally giving up on trying to find info on the h220x2 fitting. I bought it, and it looks beautiful. That is a gtx 1070 founders ed, I hope this post helps with your future builds

Builds look good guys.

I have one of these cases and have had it running for a little while. I need to tidy some things up and finish it completely then I'll post some pics up.

As soon as I saw this case I thought it was something I had to have although I must admit those InWin 303's also look very nice.

So, I need a case that features tempered glass and has a type-c connection. Would I have issues fitting an Asus Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard? It measures at 12" x 10.7". Would I run into any issues with cabling? Also, how is the cooling on the IN WIN 805 Infinity? I'm reading that some folks have issues with heat buildup because of all the glass surrounding the case.

It's not because of the glass so much as the lack of air intake. Even by modding the case to fit a 360 rad up front, it's still difficult to get enough in to actually keep things cool. It's not like your system will burn up or anything, but you will be operating at higher temps than an air flow optimised case. But this isn't new for InWin, most of their cases sacrifice air flow for aesthetics. That said, the recent 303 actually cools very well by most accounts.

The RVE 10 motherboard would fit. It's not technically full E-ATX, only a bit wider than regular ATX, and there is plenty of room there. The only thing you'd need to check is if you had any SSD's mounted on the motherboard side, as they might be an issue given the extra width.

The front glass though is easily shimmed with rubber washers and a bit longer screws.

This is true, although the pics I've seen of this mod don't look great... but each to their own of course, and it does help with the air problem. I'm sure InWin could have designed the case better in the first place though.
