What is your maximum budget?
$750

What country are you in?
USA

What will be the uses of this laptop?
Web, music, Netflix, "light" PhotoShop'ing, ... rather simple uses.

Do you have brand loyalty or care which brands we select for you?
I like Asus, actually looked at the X205T, but there are no SSD or RAM upgrade paths, & I would like those as options, though NO brand preference.

What screen size do you require?
Small. 11.6" or 13"-ish ... something literally for my lap, in bed or recliner, etc.

What screen resolution do you require?
At least run 720p ... either net stream or uploaded to SSD or off SD Card or off phone.

Are you looking to buy NEW or would refurbished/recertified/used be okay?
New, please.

How long should the battery last? (Under optimal conditions, no movies/games/heavy internet)
I do not knowreally what to expect from the new offerings of today, but certainly the longer, the better ... certainly would like the possibility of purchasing an extra BATT or larger BATT.

What games would you like to play with your laptop? And on what settings?
Zero gaming whatsoever, no even a web-based slot machine. smile.gif

What operating system do you need? (if any)
No preference, not familiar with W8 or higher yet. I doubt anything comes with W7 anymore ...

Is there a certain style of laptop you want? (aluminum, black, gaming, etc.)
Maybe the lighter the better? Maybe being lighter would go hand-in-hand with being slim as well?

How much hard drive space do you need?
Not really any more than 256-512MB. As I stated earlier, I would have no problem purchasing one with a puny 32 or 64 & upgrading myself, same with RAM.

Do you need any special hardware? (blue ray, webcam, specialty ports, etc.)
HDMI or mini-HDMI out would be great, as many USB as I can get ... three? Definitely a SD card slot ... MicroSDHC-compatible? I think those are the basic inputs that are available anyway ...

Is there anything else we need to know?
Definitely upgrade paths would be nice, ... though if the SSD was large enough, then all I would care about would be is at least better & faster, & hopefully a slot for more RAM.

I have seen a model or two that even had HDDs, & that would be fine, obviously as long as I could slap a SSD of my choice in it.

I will add that I am an AMD/ATI fanboy when it comes to building my customers PCs, but I do realize in this sector of the market, beggars cannot be chosers, I know either CPU/GPU will suffice for what I would like this for.

Thanks, folks.
