Plextor M.2 M6e Series Pcie SSD with ASUS Z97-I PLUS

Hello,
I don't really understand m.2 ssd's. Is the Plextor SSD compatible with the asus motherboard? I also have a evga gtx 970 ftw+. The mobo only has one pcie lane, so if i have a gpu, can I still use the m.2 ssd?

nope, the plextor m.2 M6e is too long physically to fit.
