Tesoro is based in Taiwan like Zowie, their websites are always going to be very poorly done.

Did anyone get that? If it turns out to be a FM with slightly better build quality and QC it could be interesting.
It's only on amazon us so far.

Also that shape is pretty cool

It's like a g402 with a different front. The sensor is most likely S3988.

Do these Tesoro mice have a rubber coating on top? it just says soft-touch which probably means its rubber but im optimistic and hope they arent.

I have the Ascalon H7L and it's definitely not rubber coated. It's sand paper-like plastic, feels rather slippery especially for dry, non-oily hands (right after washing). I would prefer it to be smoother so that skin would "stick" to it more. It will probably get better after some use.

Still looking for this mouse model but alas it's still not on Newegg or Ebay as of yet.

Just surprised that some here already have it in their possession frown.gif .

Surely this is where they got their artistic inspiration from http://robotwars.wikia.com/wiki/Death_Trak

Somehow it made it's way to Poland and its available for less than 40 euro in many online stores.
You can see a lot of pictures of the interior on this site http://www.fashaoyou.net/Article/1339/85598_3.html
I can confirm that it weights about 101-105g.
Mine has two issues: first one is that if I put my head over the mouse then I can hear some high pitched coil whine coming from the actual mouse, and it intensifies while moving the mouse. Tried all the different settings and nothing seems to help.
The more annoying issue is the very small gap between the left button and the microswitch. It causes the button to rattle every time I put my finger on it. This should be an easy fix but I haven't opened the mouse yet. Every other button except for the left one feels very solid.

hm, i havent really found a replacement for my G5 v2 so far with all that soft-touch rubber these days, yet it also has sandpaper like plastic on the sides which actually work out really well for me as my hands never sweat or get oily, so the ascalon might be a good choice for me then?
