DDR4 performance jumps and price drops leveling off now, or still dropping?

Thread Starter
Thinking about upgrading my 2400 mhz ddr4 ram because, reasons. Seemed like the Performance numbers jumped way up and the prices dropped a good bit to be more in line with the mainstream crowd thanks to Z170 coming out.

Think they are gonna stay steady at these numbers sans the high end overclocking modules for a while to come or should we be expecting prices to continue to fall for a while longer.

Got my fingers crossed I can pick up a good deal on 64GB of 3000+ mhz come black friday sales time, but if they are gonna keep dropping in price and climbing in performance for a while I'll just bypass my Memory upgrade hunt and painfully endure the loss of .05 seconds per day by having such slow plodding memory until the prices/performance leaps level off.
