Made in China Budget factories

Which is why you pay a premium

Although my note 3 is still the most durable phone

You do know Apple phones are built in China right? Although that might of been your point.

I think this is a bit out of proportion ATM, until a lot more reports of issues in the real world I will not worry that I have preordered.

As others have said the reviewers have pretty much universally praised the phone, even iFixit despite quite rightly scoring it low, have said it appears sturdily constructed.

That being said, if they had made it as thick as the camera with a even bigger battery it would of been better, the chasing after super slim phones seems a tad pointless to me.

The metal build is really disappointing though, it looks like the metal is far too soft...

Well it is an extreme test, but I think it will be better if he test the phone on dashboard usage while running antutu stress test, see if the phone can survive that.

The video was rather humorous. The screen cracking from the scratch test and the ease of bending is really unfortunate for a phone that starts at 499$.

The main problem I see is that they are building phones to break within 1-2 years in one form or another. Stuff like durability does not get much hype in initial reviews. It's all about the camera lol.

Massively agree there, it's the disposable age! After a year swapping in a new battery was always worth doing.
Unfortunately Apple has se the trend here with the all glass iphone 4 onwards......

LOL people recommend Zx series phone in the thread, Sony phones has worst displays in human history, grainy - non accurate, very bluish tints (white point) and bad viewing angles.
