ASUS P8P67 PRO (REV 3.1) | Windows 10 Installation Issues.

Thread Starter
Anyone been able to get this motherboard working on windows 10? As soon as windows 10 loads (Read: The special pre-boot windows 10/windows 10 recovery options menus all work) I lose all control of mouse/keyboard the USB bus just isnt detected I guess. No usb devices work and thus I can't use the computer at all once it hits the windows 10 login screen.

Their site shows no windows 10 drivers available for download even if I managed to get a really old PS/2 mouse and keyboard to use to install drivers. If anyone has managed to get W10 loading on this chipset please let me know!

I'm a big fan of this mobo and the i7 2700k that I use with it, sandybridge is holding out really well for me and I haven't needed to upgrade yet but it seems if I want windows 10 I need to upgrade now... Which is dumb.

I haven't been able to load windows 10 either but not because your problem. i get to 90% complete the machine reboots and i get cannot boot messages, happens 3 times then rolls back to windows 8.1. I don't think its the motherboard but i may be wrong.

I have an Asus P8P67 Pro (rev 3.0) w/ 2500k and windows 10 installed easily and has been running fine. I think the major difference between the revision 3.0 and 3.1 are the USB 3.0 ports, so you can try your mouse in some different ports. I did upgrade from Win 7 fwiw.

No issues here either, P8P67 Pro 3.1 and 2600k @ 5GHz.

The way I got mine to work, because I wanted a fresh install anyway, I installed my old Windows 7 fresh, and did the "media creation tool" upgrade method, and told Win 10 to do a fresh install with that (don't save any files).
