Looked good!

It looks pretty sick. @Nyk, can you tell us why you chose the maximus viii over the z170 EVGA stinger? Im thinking of buying the titan X with hydro copper, and i think it would look sick with EVGA water block.

I have been an Asus guy for a few years now and its the best board for its given form factor. I think the Titan X and Evga combo would be amazing and GL on your build.

Ordered some EK ZMT Black tubing and Mayhems Blood Red coolant. I will be using Swiftech low profile 45 degree swivel barbs for a clean look and i just have a lack of room for thicker compression fittings =}

Hopefully i can fill the loop this weekend and everything goes well.

Amazing build. I've been lurking this thread for quite some time, but I'm getting ready to build something similar.

One thing I'm curious about is the difficulty of the H100i GTX installation in this case. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of clearance on the top for the radiator, so I'm curious if it was a shoe-in or you had to make some concessions to get it to fit. (Although the Swiftech fitting does give me a bit of hope there).

Also with your 980, and to the other builder with the 780ti--how do you feel temps are while gaming? I'm a bit worried at the lack of airflow in the case, especially since I'm considering going with a 980ti.

Anyway--this thread has been a huge help, so thanks!

Hey mate,

As far as fitting the H100I GTX, there should not be a problem. You have plenty of space left on all 3 sides. For GPU, it really depends on which one you pick. Just pick the one with best cooler and it shouldnt be a problem, and remember max temp for 980ti's are 92c. Most of them dont even reach that high on ultra high settings in games. But I suggest just get a waterblock and do a simple loop. Its really the best option.

The H100i was just under the 60mm limit so it fit with a little bit of room to spare. My friend that runs a 780 Ti and 6700k with the H220-X said his Ti doesn't go above 55c so you should be with in that same comfort zone. If you have anymore questions you can pm and thanks for looking as this was the goal to help others because this is a unique case and not the easiest to watercool.

Mock up the tubing but i dont like the way these barb fittings look so i ordered some Bitspower 90 degree adapters and straight fittings.
