Dirt Cheap mouse, that will survive my kids?

Just need a dirt cheap mouse that will survive my kids abuse, mostly they will be doing homework and light gaming(they are 7 and 10), so not a $50 gaming mouse....figured someone on here has already tried and had success with cheap stuff?

I recommend the logitech g100s. It frequently goes on sale for $20 and logitech has great customer service if you ever run into any issuses with it. Its the cheapest gaming mouse i can think of. Any cheaper would be a mouse with a bad sensor.

Buy five mice cheap enough to be disposable.

Yeah I think that's what I will go with, they have some from amazon that are bulk packaged but new, for $14.

I don't know what qualifies as "dirt cheap", but CM Storm Xornet will take a beating and you can pick it up for about $20, plus it's pretty child-sized. I know, it's a gaming mouse, but you won't find many people here with fine knowledge of cheap mice.

Yeah I am aware most are higher end users, but lots of people started overclocking low end hardware and as time went on they got better stuff. Sadly I have been out of the loop the last 5 years on hardware as my wife has had health issues and every penny we have has gone to trying to just make ends meet.

Check this article http://lifehacker.com/five-best-budget-computer-mice-1597267610

Cheapest out of that list are:

http://www.amazon.com/Dell-M0C5U0-Scroll-Button-Optical/dp/B004XUGYMQ/?tag=gmgamznmod-20

http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Basic-Optical-Mouse-P58-00022/dp/B00081N53K/%5Btype|mod-title?tag=gmgamznmod-20

Can confirm Microsoft mice are some of the most durable mice I've used.

I know that feeling I'm running a core i3 2100 with a GTX 680 (got free) lol before that I was using a 5850. Sucks getting older as more and more of your money goes to other important things leaving you with very little extra for hobbies.

I can attest to the microsoft mouse you linked, as its survived about three change outs of the Microsoft ergonomic keyboard 4000 we have at work....in fairness the keyboards and mice are both in use 24/7 at my cubicle and generally speaking the keyboards die around 20-26 months old, and mice die around 4-4.5 years(I have been here nearly 13 and we are on our 3rd mouse and probably 6th keyboard)

the g100s has click issues, your best bet for under 30usd is the logitech g300s, or the steelseries kinzu v3, or the roccat lua or the cm storm xornet. you will not find any other decent mice for under 30usd

I like Logitech M100 as my standard basic mouse. I find it to be cheap and durable. You can usually find them for <$10 everywhere.
