I decided to OC my i7 2600k, since its my first time OC i wanted to make it as easy as possible, so i changed the multiplier to 44x and used offset & +0,07, and worked my way down to 0,040 before it BSOD. So after testing +0,045 for a while it seems to be stable.
So my question is if fluctuating vcore is bad for the cpu? During idle I'm at 1vcore and during gaming im at 1.2 to 1.32vcore It changes alot during gaming & at prime95 I'm pretty much steady at 1.34 to 1,345vcore. Is that bad, The fluctuating?
I also did not use any LLC 0%, tried to read up on what it does but i got no wiser. Is that something that should be on?
On other notes temps are fine and system is stable.
Main question, can i just leave it as it is and not worry about it? Will the constant change of volt damage my cpu?
16gb ram 1600hz (2sticks)
128gb ssd & 3 low rmp HDDS
Cant recall the name of the cooler but the temps are ok.
