Then it has 7 cores. AMD should be sued because physics technically allows the product they advertise as an 8 core to really be only a 7 core.

Well, out of the box it does have 8 cores but then again AMD doesn't guarantee that when you harm the thing it still is capable of the same thing. Moto does, at this point.

Alright, enough of nitpicking tongue.gif Since I've paid off my G3 at this point I should actually test this phone out.

EDIT!

I'll take back all I've said. I should read more carefully next time.

If a pebble bashed into your windshield causing a line clear across it would you say it shattered or it cracked?
Their guarantee uses the word shatter over cracked or broken. That tells me that the guarantee relies on how shatter is defined.
It's a cop out to sell a phone as "shatter proof" so that Average Joe thinks that he just bought a phone with an uncrackable screen.

All nitpicking aside, I hope it's a good screen.
I doubt any one is going to put an Apache windshield on a phone anytime soon.

Not for the X Force, but for the Motorola Droid Turbo 2. I'm pretty sure they're both similar in terms of shatterproof.

Sure, the few people out there who actually use a case for their phone might not shatter them as regularly, but a case just ruins it for me. I'd rather replace a broken phone every few years than use a case (though it's not exactly the most expensive phones I use). Might get a glass screen protector next time I upgrade, depends on the cost of replacing the phone.

Just shattered the screen on my phone last month, accidentally dropped it, nothing you can do to prevent that (dropping it, I mean). It's the first phone I have ever broken and I just switched to my spare.

I love how a phone looks without case but for some phones i like how a good quality case feels and grips. I like to get many cases for my phone to change from time to time to get a new look. I dont drop my phone but when it falls from my pocket or table I don't have to worry one bit. All i had to do is remove the case once and 30 mins later my phone was damaged. My friend would always break his phones screen because he would be too lazy to buy a case. He got a LG G3 now and got a case for him. If you see his case you would be worry how many times that phone has dropped. To many people even smartphones are tools and not fancy toys.

Depends a lot on the material used. The cheap plastic on a lot of Samsung phones feels horrible, but good plastic or aluminium backs are so nice.
Cases also make the phone fatter and heavier which has a big impact on comfort when it's in your pocket.
