And....So if the framerate setting doesn't apply, then just disable paper debris. Is it difficult to go past the things that have already been done or been fixed?

Unable to, no need to go into the details. thumb.gif

Also, I can run it just fine.... biggrin.gif

Yep....Some people seem to be completely unwilling to accept the fact that they're not a "World Class Overclocker"....If I have an OC running and a game crashes, I change my OC settings and move on. It's no big deal, it gives me something else to tinker with. biggrin.gif

I prefer using the term "stable so far", meaning that I haven't come across anything to that point that caused instability. Also, it seems to make it easier to "go back to the drawing board". thumb.gif

Thought I post this updated video review. After seeing this video, I was more comfortable with buying the game. Found it new for $30 with the Harley Quinn Story Pack download offer biggrin.gif ...Didn't have to spend $60 wheee.gif ... thumb.gif

It seems to be okay to me whistle.gif

Due to the poor state of the game and 1 recall + 1 "faux" recall I've requested a refund from cdkeys, the rep forwarded the email to a manager who claimed for several weeks there have been no significant issues reported.

I guess they haven't noticed that the game was pulled off the self for 5 months and that there was unconditional refunds offered after the latest patch did not solve the issues within any sort of reasonable hardware requirements.

Frankly, if they do not at the very least give me store credit I will initiate a chargeback and delete+remove the game from my library. They won't be happy but the product does not function as advertised after a lengthy period of waiting to see if the product could be fixed. I'm well within my rights as a consumer.

I recall reading that it's unconditional...but only if you bought through Steam. Which now gives refunds anyway lachen.gif

I'm just using that as a case to further that the product has not been functioning as intended and has not been fixed for an acceptible period of time. It's basically covering my butt with the legality of things. My rights as a consumer are being violated as a product I bought is not functioning as advertisted/intended - and is still not functioning as advertised/intended after an acceptible wait period.

The 1st recall and this 2nd unconditional refund are supportive in the legal world that the developer acknowledges the product is not functioning as intended. It's all about the legality to prevent claims of fraud if I have to do a chargeback.

To get a refund on Steam there are rules.
Quote:
Valve will, upon request via help.steampowered.com, issue a refund for any reason, if the request is made within fourteen days of purchase, and the title has been played for less than two hours.

What they mean by "unconditional" is that they're doing refunds regardless of how long you've owned the game or how long you've played it.

Lol wow. Can anyone think of any other AAA massive failure in the last decade that is as bad or worst than this? I wonder if people are going to lose their jobs over this. Or maybe they figure, "meh, it's PC. Nobody cares", and nothing else happens.

Iron Galaxy will probably never work on another AAA game again. Does that count?
