[Polygon]Batman: Arkham Knight now offering unconditional refunds to PC gamers through Dec. 31 - Page 6

I get it about the first release, but re-release of the game and same thing happens?!

"save yourself the trouble and download" can be easily taken as "save your money and download it for free" especially when you add do not buy after it, but it was meant as "it is not worth the download".
That is like saying that if you got a penis you're rapist.
Or getting to jail because you looked at the item and didn't buy it in the shop. Because obviously you'll steal it later.
... and ocn should ban 90% from threads about this game because they are against piracy...
What a dumb thing to say. Really.

Mad Max and LOTR are the same game with different textures.
Middle Earth was good for me. No issues and fairly fun hack'n'slash game.
It looked like batman game with different skins tho

Because post trying to fix something and realizing it's not possible, that's how a timeline works...

Is that credible after four months? Suddenly after a few days of re-release they realize that there are things that they can't fix? And if that is supposedly a final conclusion, doesn't it seem a little rushed? The game was re-released four days ago. They don't realize it for four months and then do after four days and call it quits?

This reminds me when they said that they wouldn't fix some bugs in Arkham Origins because they were concentrating on making more DLC. If I had read about something like that ten years before I probably wouldn't have believed it as it would have been outlandish, irresponsible, disrespecting of the consumer, etc. Nowadays it seems like anything goes.

Oh, and they put the price up to € 49,99 where I live from the previous € 45,99 upon re-release. They really aren't interested in selling this, are they?

Wow, chill out.
I don't agree with the mod for randomly banning but it can be misunderstood with the way it was said.

To be honest, when you're telling someone to not buy the game, but to download it instead, that would be recommending piracy - you specifically said to not buy the game. So if it's not being purchased, then how else would someone be downloading it legally? That sounds like piracy to me, I'm pretty familiar with the concept....

I've been banned from a forum for piracy, without ever even mentioning pirating anything. I got banned from the Windows 7 forum within 15 mins of joining because I asked for help, they had me run some tool and post the "un-edited results". It turned out that my copy of Windows wasn't valid, and I got banned. I was asking about why my PC crashed (this was a couple of years ago), and made absolutely no mention of anything that could possibly be confused for supporting piracy. Some places are more strict about it than others.

No. He said not to buy and not to download. It just that it can be taken in the wrong way.

I think most are forgetting that the majority of gamers are probably not running on the highest most expensive cards out there. Most peeps I meet in real life that game on PC tend to game on gaming laptops around 800-1000 price range or lower, or even still run on older cards or mid-range cards if it is the lastest release.

Of course the major thing is, everybody computer is unique in setup, programs installed, patches, etc. So of course each computer may run a game differently. Why do you think businesses have patch management and change management policies for computers. Because it may work alright on the one set of computers, but straight up crash the other set of computers.

Kind of the reason I wish they bring back demos.

Actually it is not. I don't agree with the mod but it can be taken the wrong way.

"Download it, don't buy it, you will return it if you buy it" That is what it can taken as. It all depends on how you look at it.
