10/31 Razer Synapse Update v1.18.21.27748 Issues

I recently re-installed Razer Synapse for an unknown reason, and it updated immediately, and my sensor feels as if I was holding my mouse 2-3 inches above my mousepad and tracking like that. That's the best way I can describe it, has anyone else had their Razer Synapse update and felt a difference? Not quite sure how to revert yet.

Note: I'm using the Deathadder 2013 if it matters.

It's pretty difficult to diagnose "Synapse issues" as Synapse is an issue in itself.

I'm not even trying to be funny, Synapse itself is analogous with tracking foolery. Just avoid that software as a whole tbh.

I only installed it to test Surface Calibration, as well as 800dpi & 500Hz separately (normally use 400dpi @ 1000Hz). I have read that it negatively impacts performance, but how does it do that if I disable Razer Synapse & Razer Game Scanner from startup?

You sent me a PM asking if I still have the DA2013, which I replied. However I'd just like to point out that I never used this mouse with synapse. I would install the software, get my settings where I want them, dpi, polling rate, lod... then uninstall the software immediately. Synapse is junk.

Haven't had any problems with the new Synapse myself, still using it while figuring out the settings I want to use with my DA. I am using DA Chroma though. Btw, how are you updating your DA firmware? Apparently you can't do it through Synapse and I can't find any separate firmware updater.

Synapse checks the FW of the mouse and should update your mouse automatically. A window will pop up that tells you not to unplug the mouse while the FW is updating. If you don't see that then Synapse thinks you are on the latest FW. They don't release separate FW update SW anymore afaik.

Driver is still active in the background (can be seen using hidden devices in device manager I believe).
