I'd wait for the new HP Envy 32''. It probably can't overclock to 80 Hz, but it'll have a very light coating and a VA panel. According to HP, it'll be out en masse in November.

I just bought it, I'll test it out when i get home. I know it goes up to 70 Hz stock, I'm having trouble enabling Freesync though.

Does it say what the freesync range is on it?

It doesn't overclock, the resolution changes but it reports at 2560 x 1440 running at 80hz. The monitor also displays an OSD message saying out range.

70Hz

85Hz

What version do you have? The "old" one with Beats Audio or the new one with Bang and Olufsen.

I have the new one Model #N9C43AA, It has the Bang and Olufsen speakers, and the decals at the bottom included the AMD Freesync logo.

I created post to try and figure out how to enable freesync here http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Audio-Video-Monitors/How-to-Enable-Freesync/td-p/5334394

and I uninstalled the 15.7 drivers and installed the 15.10 beta drivers to see if it helps with enabling freesync. So i created a post here but haven't had much help https://community.amd.com/thread/190869https://community.amd.com/thread/190869
