First person I've seen NOT pick a garbage PSU.
Good job. thumb.gif

Looks good. I would like to see an ssd. I'd almost rather go with a 256GB ssd over the hdd if I couldn't fit both in my budget. Then, just keep your current games installed until you can get an hdd.

If you choose to stick with the hdd, I find the Seagate ST1000DM003 to be faster than the WD Blue and I have both. I can get that 1 TB Seagate to hit 200 MB/s read and darn close on the writes. I have partitioned off the first 150GB for programs and its pretty snappy. Put the games on the rest. Obviously ssd would be better though.

Yeah I get the SSD part, but they are so expensive. I'm budgeting I guess as I'm only 16. I'll take a look at the other hdd

You know what parts to pick that is clear.
What is your budget? You'd be surprised what Painkiller and PontiacGTX can squeeze into a small budget.

What games do you play?

My budget is like anything up to $750. I play all kinds of different games I guess.

And also I'm looking for a new motherboard, so if you could suggest one that would be excellent.

Isn't the Seagate HDD louder? Just being curious.

I looked at some reviews and I think that I might stick with the WD
