Also don't hate on the GTX 970, I do 60 fps all day long at 1440p (maybe not maxed, but still). 980ti is still to expensive for 20% gain I think. Or get a 980ti but plan on selling it in 2 years and getting a 1080ti+ (I made that up, whatever they will be called in 2 years)

40% gain overclocked. If I get the i7-4790k I will overclock it no matter what. its an addiction tongue.gif.

Fury and skylake? Fury (non-x) over the 980. The main issue is which is acceptable for streaming. if it unlocks, great. a nice compromise between the lower end and 980ti for 1440p.
