EDIT:

Yes, there is going to be a luxury/bling "tax" tossed into that price, but don't be fooled into thinking these don't have the best technology in the World in them as well.

From what I have seen, the owners of the original Orpheus tend to have a dedicated sitting room for music. As all your high end cans will be open back. There are a few closed back higher end sets, but eh, they don't sound as good.

Oh, and you are right. These aren't for the Audiophile, they target a group beyond that.
