Thought a lot about BO3, but from what I have read the player community is short lived . If I get BO3 base game, can I still play on line without the dlc ? Or pick up the dlc later ?

Tried witcher 3, and gave it away .

Star Wars would be great, but not on steam .

Just keep in mind that Fallout doesn't play quite like a true shooter, the RPG elements are pretty ingrained into the system.

Didn't like Witcher? What, specifically, turned you off?

It sounds like you want a simple action oriented game that you can pick up, put a little time into and actually accomplish something. Your best options may be to stick with the Call of Duty/Black Ops games. I thought the new Wolfenstein game was a blast. The story was fun and the gameplay was on point. I don't know if it has any multiplayer value to it, but its definitely worth picking up on sale.

If you like the multiplayer, horde type games, take a look at Killing Floor 2. They're releasing it in pieces, but a majority of the game is out, its cheap and the game is a blast, if you have some friends to play with. Even if you don't have anyone online, it has built in matchmaking.

I can be the same way. Sometimes I just want to play something, with a decent story, that I can finish in a handful of gaming sessions.

Games like Witcher or Dragon Age, even Fallout, can require a significant investment. Don't get me wrong, they are still good games, but I'm not always looking for something I'm going to dump 100 hours into. Yeah, that may be an exaggeration, in some cases, but not always... people want more content than ever, in their games, so there can be a lot of seemingly frivolous filler. I don't think that adds to the game...

Anyways, take a look at some of the suggestions... Wolfenstein, Killing Floor... I've been a fan of both for a long time, so I may be biased, but in Killing Floor, I can hop in and play a match or two and be on my way. There is a type of leveling system that unlocks perks and guns so there is progression, but the game is fun, if you're into the horde mode type.

Fallout 4 is more like Skyrim with guns, like another poster said. I've played both Skyrim and FC4 and they play pretty differently.

In other words, if you've played Skyrim before, you'll feel right at home.

Im not so sure if its similar to Farcry. More like similar to Skyrim. It could end like Witcher 3 for you.

Atleast wait for a few gameplay videos and reviews before you spend 60 dollars for it.

Click on your login name in the top right corner of your screen, hit my account, then there should be a button to "add funds". Or if they have them in your country, go to a CVS or Walgreens and they will have a little card in the format of 20$, 50$, and 100$ which will give you a code you can use to redeem the steam bucks.
