Motherboard: MSI X99A SLI KRAIT EDITION ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard ($249.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Not too sure about the memory, Ive always heard Corsair Dominator Platinums are good, just not sure about all the technical jargon that goes along with it. Thanks!

Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM are a massive ripoff and its also useless bling you pay for, there is zero reason to get Dominator Platinum when they are not better then the cheaper Corsair RAM.
Also note that 3000 MHz RAM might not work on X99 as its only Z170 that can work with DDR4 speeds that high, they might work or they might not but you are not getting anything out of 3000 MHz RAM anyway.

Its a massive waste of money get a Kingston or Corsair 2666 MHz kit and spend all that money saved on something that would useful instead.

Thanks for the input, I always value your opinion. How about something like this?

Thats $65 cheaper and they are not going to be any slower.
And they will work for sure on X99 and they also have a lower profile in case you have a big cooler.

Thanks for the feedback, any particular reason to go with this mobo and the memory you chose? Still kinda in the air about a mobo, just want to make sure I have enough connections for now, and in the future.

Ultimately I want to get me a Caselabs S8/S8S, and possible water loop? IDK havent decided on the loop yet, still kinda scares me with doing the whole process and maintenance.

Okay well Im about to make my purchase in the next few minutes now deciding between the Motherboards...

X99A SLI KRAIT EDITION
MSI X99A SLI PLUS

Is there any reason to choose one of these over the other? I like the looks of the Krait Edition, but like the price and some of the reviews of the SLI Plus board. Just need to see what others opinions are and then I will make the purchase!! Thanks!!
